Social responsibility is a duty every individual has to perform, so as to maintain a balance between the economy & ecosystem. An interdisciplinary presentation was conducted by the department of education in which speaker- senior faculty member of commerce Mr. Akash Goenka presented a very effective session on CSR i.e. corporate social responsibility. It is a self regulating business model that helps a company to be socially accountable to itself, its stakeholders & the public. The session was fruitful & highly interactive & gave students thorough understanding about CSR.
